You can activate your credit card instantly by creating an ePIN via ATM, Mobile App or Phone Banking.

The date of the card statement is the 3rd of every month. For instance, if you made a credit card purchase on 4/1/2023 for the amount of OMR 200, then calculation of the grace period is as follows:

• Date of purchase: 4/1/2023       
• Date of receiving the second settlement: 3/2/2023 (30 days)   
• Date of payment: 20/2/2023 (17 days)
• Total Grace Period: 30 + 17 days = 47 days

Your Dhofar Islamic Credit Card is designed with several layers of protection, but there are good user guidelines that you can follow to ensure you stay secure while enjoying all of your card’s many benefits.

• Do not keep your PIN number together with your card.
• Do not write your PIN number on the card, or disclose it to anyone for any reason.
• Do not leave your card, wallet or bag unattended.
• Retain copies of all sales, ATM and withdrawal slips for statement verification.
• Ensure your card is returned after every use, and check that the card returned is yours.
• Update Dhofar Islamic immediately of any change in mailing / delivery address or phone number. Please remember, failure to notify constitutes material breach of the terms of cards insurance.
