BankDhofar organizes “Coffee with Numo” to strengthen relationships with SMEs

BankDhofar has organized the “Coffee with Numo” event, a new initiative aimed at enhancing communication and building stronger relationships with the bank’s small and medium enterprise (SME) clients. The initiative forms part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to support this vital sector and promote its growth and sustainability.

During the event, Adnan bin Mohsin Al Balushi, Head of Numo SME Banking, highlighted key banking solutions, features and specialized services offered by the bank to meet the evolving needs of SMEs. He emphasized BankDhofar’s commitment to its role as a strategic partner in empowering entrepreneurs and supporting the expansion of their businesses.

Al Balushi noted that the event underscores the bank’s keenness to strengthen partnerships with the SME sector and support the business environment in the Sultanate of Oman, in line with its strategic direction to contribute to sustainable economic development.

The event also provided a platform for open dialogue, with bank officials engaging directly with participants to gather feedback, insights and practical experiences. This interaction supports the continuous enhancement of banking services and the delivery of solutions aligned with market needs and challenges.

The event featured two SME entrepreneurs who shared their journeys in establishing and growing their businesses, as well as the challenges they encountered along the way. They highlighted the pivotal role played by BankDhofar—particularly through its financial and advisory support—in helping them achieve their business goals.

Earlier this year, BankDhofar officially launched its dedicated SME banking brand, “Numo,” reflecting its strong commitment to supporting this vital sector. Numo aims to accompany entrepreneurs at every stage of their business journey—from idea development to accessing regional and global markets—by offering an integrated suite of specialized banking solutions tailored to SME needs. The initiative seeks to position SMEs as a key driver of growth within Oman’s economic landscape.

Numo offers a comprehensive range of digital banking solutions, enabling entrepreneurs to manage their finances flexibly from anywhere, alongside instant transfer services and efficient payroll processing. It also provides customized financing solutions to support business expansion, investment and new opportunities, complemented by dedicated SME Centers at select branches.

In addition, Numo’s advanced point-of-sale solutions offer secure and seamless payment capabilities, while the Wage Protection System (WPS) streamlines salary disbursement and enhances operational efficiency, supporting overall business sustainability.
